SpeechPro to Discuss Voice Biometrics at SpeechTEK 2012

SpeechPro President Alexey Khitrov has been invited to be a panelist and speaker at SpeechTEK 2012, a flagship speech technology industry event, taking place August 13-15 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

Currently in its 18th year, SpeechTEK knows the speech technology industry inside and out, and organizers promise this year’s event to be one of the best ever. SpeechPro is delighted to be contributing to SpeechTEK’s rich and varied program this year with a special session devoted to “Voice Biometrics: Opportunities and Challenges.”

The session will focus on voice as a biometric for individual identification and voice recording verification. Panelists will discuss several new voice biometrics applications and comment on how these will impact security—of property, people and information. Dan Miller, founder of Opus Research, an advisory firm for contextual communications, voice biometrics and local mobile search, will moderate the panel, which runs from 9-10 a.m. on August 15. We look forward to seeing you!
