STC on XVI International Congress of Phonetic Sciences



XVI International Congress of Phonetic Sciences took place in Saarbrucken (Germany) 6-10 August. The congress is held every 4 years and it gathers leading specialists in the fields of phonetics and speech technology.
This year 800 researchers from all over the world presented more than 500 scientific papers. Speech Technology Center was represented at the congress by J.Khitrova and I.Oparin with the paper "Speaker Identification Using Selective Comparison of Pitch Contour Parameters" at the Forensic Phonetics session. One of the promising methods for automatic speaker identification developed at STC was presented.
