Biometric voice verification system for Bank's

Voice Key Service (VKS) is a software application for voice verification. VKS is an efficient solution of an enterprise IT security system. The system is designed to control users’ access to the corporate informational resources using the parole phrase and the unique shape of each person’s vocal tract. VKS can be used independently or in combination with other access control systems. The service secures information from unauthorized access which can become possible in case type password, HID (Proximity) RFID card, HASP-key, etc have been lost or handed over.

VKS consists of the following software components:

• Verification server (Voice Key Service) is the core of the system. Responds for verification, accounts and voice files management
• Proxy-agent – module for message transferring from the client’s software (IVR call-centers, ERP systems, WEB browser) to the verification server. The module is customized for each project individually.

Today STC offers 2 variants of VKS realization:

1. Voice Key Service - WEB (VKS–WEB). Verification server which interacts with client’s web-browser via TCP/IP.
2. Voice Key Service - PBX (VKS-PBX). Verification server which interacts with PBX Asterisk and clients’ workstations (VoIP telephones) via TCP/IP.

How it works

User’s access request is re-directed to verification server. Verification server loads a web-page on the user’s workstation or asks to pronounce a parole phrase (depending on the variant of its realization). The parole phrase pronounced by the user goes to verification server to be compared with the etalon. After successful verification the user gets an access to the information. The number of applications interacting with VKS is unlimited.
