The Russian Ministry of IT and Communications awarded St. Petersburg's Speech Technology Center (STC) the prize for corporate integration of modern information systems and technologies. STC won for its Quality Management System.

The Federal Police of Argentina in cooperation with The Federal University of Argentina received equipment and successfully completed the course of Audio Forensic training by the Speech Technology Center.

Over 100 private and governmental audio examiners will come in Denver, CO to participate in the 33d AES Conference. The speeches of participants will be devoted to the current issues of audio authenticity, audio transcription and speaker identification.

18.04.2008 Speech Technology Center will be presented at “Telestrategies ISS World Asia Pacific”

Speech Technology Center will participate in the “Telestrategies ISS World Asia Pacific” Conference that will take place 09-11 June 2008 in Singapore. The event is dedicated to Intelligence Support Systems for Lawful Interception, Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Gathering and will be the world’s largest gathering of Telecom Operators, Law Enforcement, Interior Security and the Intelligence Community to learn and network.

17.04.2008 Automatic Voice Search System Trawl-X developed by Speech Technology Center got the National Industrial Golden Award ZUBR 2008

Automatic Voice Search System Trawl-X has won the Golden Medal of the prestigious industrial award “ZUBR 2008” in the “Information Security” nomination. The committee marked that it is the first Russian automatic voice search system.

08.02.2008 Speech Technology Center announces first Russian Automatic Speech Recognition Technology – the RUSSOGRAGH.

St. Petersburg, Russia – St. Petersburg’s Speech Technology Centre (STC) has launched the RUSSOGRAGH, the first speech-to-text technology for continuous Russian speech.

21.12.2007 STC in voice-operated robots project.

“Speech Technology Center” and “Android Robotics Corp” have teamed up to create a new voice-operated robot. The presentation of the new humanoid robot has taken place in the Scientific Center of the JSC “Russian Railways” on the 20th of December, 2007.
